About

Hi, I’m Chelsea, LAMFT and MT-BC. I have always been interested in psychology and mental health, and I find joy and fulfillment in my work. I have experienced joy and heartache which have shaped me into the person I am today. Each of us experiences a variety of difficulties in our lives, and sometimes connecting with a professional can make a big difference on our journey. I am pleased to offer a variety of therapeutic approaches in my work which I tailor to individual and family system needs. I tend to take a practical and nurturing healing approach using mindful, behavioral, psychodynamic, and humanistic models. Areas of skill I have been trained in include EMDR, IFS, Gottman Method Couples Therapy, perinatal mental health, and of course music therapy. I serve couples, individuals, families, older adults, teens, and children. I specialize in working with those who are neurodiverse (autism and ADHD), single, divorced, nonbinary or questioning, experience chronic pain or illness, coping with grief, experiencing postpartum mood disruptions (baby blues), and those who have disabilities.

When I am not working as a therapist, I enjoy caring for my family, playing instruments, reading, and spending time outside. My degrees include a bachelor of science in music therapy and a master of science in marriage and family therapy. I have worked in a variety of settings including inpatient mental health, eating disorder treatment centers, hospice, schools, youth rehabilitation centers, and group foster homes.
